Dear Parents of LCS,
We have had an exciting and engaging week at school!
Literacy Day was a tremendous success. Our students had a wonderful time participating in a variety of literacy activities. A special thank you goes to our Instructional Support team for organizing and running such a fun and enriching experience for our students.
Kindergarten through second grade got to visit with our Wizard of Words Author Jerry Pallotta.
Movie day was a hit! Students enjoyed watching "The Smurfs" and had a fun, relaxing time together.
Parents, please take the time to complete the Elementary School Lunch Survey to gather feedback regarding our school lunch program.
We value all feedback and use the responses to help us plan our menus and meals. The initial survey provided great insight into our students' needs, and we look forward to using this new data to further improve our service.
Be on the look out for an invitation in your student's backpack to this year's gala - Step Into Your Story!
Lastly, a friendly reminder to all parents/visitors - Please do not hold the door open for other parents/visitors when entering the building. For the safety of all students and staff, everyone must use the buzzer before entering the school. The main office staff is happy to assist you.
All the best,
Dr. Oliver
