BT Municipal Alliance: Mind Matters: Exploring Mental Health through Film

BTMA is offering a series of documentary screenings and facilitated discussions to spark conversation about mental health and social connection. More information can be found here.

The next film being presented in our series will be The Upstanders, on Monday, March 9th, 6 – 8 PM at the Bernards Township Library.  The Upstanders is a powerful documentary that explores bullying and cyberbullying through real stories and expert insight, highlighting how connection, empathy, and resilience can help create kinder communities. The documentary screening will be accompanied by a guided discussion hosted by Kevin Dyches from Tri-County CMO. Open to all members of the community ages 11 and up. This presentation includes discussion about suicide and related mental health topics. We recognize this content may be difficult for some individuals. If at any point you need support, a member of the Tri-County CMO staff will be available in the back of the room, and you are welcome to step out at any time. Click here for more information.
