This week students, parents, staff and community members met for a presentation and group discussion on screen time. Restoring Focus: Balance Screen Time with Your Elementary Student
May 21 - 9:30-11:00am - Cedar Hill School Cafeteria
This session will feature Middle School Principal Karen Hudock, who will share insights on how screen use is impacting students and families, including trends we are seeing in our middle school. The presentation will also include district data on screen time and introduce the “Wait Until 8th” pledge as a way to support families in navigating device use. Parents will leave with practical strategies for creating healthy, balanced screen time routines for elementary-aged children. This session is geared towards grades K-5 and is being held in-person with the option to join virtually.
